It’s that time of year, where in many parts of the country the trees are budding and the pollen count is rising. It’s important to keep that pollen outside and minimize the ways you track it into your home. When coming inside, wipe your feet and remove your shoes and outer wear. Leave items in a designated space like the mudroom. If you’ve been working outside, don’t come in and sit down. Change your clothes. Otherwise, pollen from your clothes will get on the furniture and make its way through the house. Hair attracts pollen, so it’s important to cover your head if you will be outside. And if you have not done so, make sure you wash your hair before going to bed and transfer pollen to your bedding. When there’s high pollen counts, you will want to keep your windows closed and run the air conditioner. […]
EVERETT, Wash., March 3, 2016 — Boeing [NYSE: BA] engineers and designers have developed a self-cleaning lavatory prototype that uses ultraviolet (UV) light to kill 99.99 percent of germs. The cleaning system can disinfect all surfaces after every use in just three seconds. We think this is pretty amazing science and the applications could be endless. This is not exactly a household item yet, so you can still call CleanBeyond for the same level (and better) of disinfection! http://boeing.mediaroom.com/2016-03-03-Boeing-Develops-Self-Cleaning-Lavatory#assets_117

Let’s face it. Planes are gross. Every single time I board a plane for a long-haul flight, I know I will catch a cold on board. It happens pretty much without fail. And no amount of Vitamin C, echinacea, or hand sanitizer seems to do the trick. Read the full article at Yahoo… and know that CleanBeyond processes are effective against E. coli, MRSA and influenza.
